Our driving instructors are all well trained and assessed by the DSA. Many have several years experience, not only in teaching learners to successfully pass the driving test but also in teaching qualified drivers to become ADI’s (Approved Driving Instructors).
To help ensure your lessons are effectively taught we pick you up, drop you off from any reasonable location, ensure all lesson time is one to one – just you and the instructor – and that you receive a full hours lesson.

BTEC in Driving Science
We now have a BTech acredited instructor and offer the follow course: The BTEC in Driving Science is an intermediate vocational training qualification (equivalent to a GCSE in level) and the world’s first novice driver education programme. The course follows a highly structured learning programme (inclusive of post-test elements such as motorway driving and driving at night) and works in conjunction with normal practical driving lessons.
The Aim
To ensure the next generation of young drivers are safer, more responsible and fully equipped to deal with 21st century life on the road.
BTEC Background – Based on 2 key pieces of research:
The frontal lobe part of the brain responsible for anticipating danger and assessing risk is not developed fully until about the age of 25. This goes someway to explaining the over representation of 17-24 year olds in crashes that have caused death and serious injury (In 2007, over 10,000 young people were killed or seriously injured in road crashes in the UK).
Attitude and behaviour, rather than lack of vehicle handling skills contribute to 19 out of 20 crashes. The BTEC addresses the importance of integrating the right attitude with car control skills.
